Welcome to Organ Keeper!

Have A Heart, But Pay For It

Carrying an organ donor card and allowing doctors to transplant the organs and tissues of dying relatives are purely altruistic acts. Politicians, medical groups, bureaucrats and charities often preach that we have a "moral obligation" to provide the "gift of life" to our fellow man. But there are many ways to view this process, some of which are quite unsettling. We hope to stimulate thoughtful, rational discussion about the U.S. human organ industry. Our goal is to promote greater fairness and freedom for those who provide life-giving organs. We believe that compensating organ providers will reduce or eliminate the chronic shortage of transplantable organs.
